FiVe Points Apparel started when we repeatedly saw negative posts from those in the Fitness Industry on social media during the COVID-19 Pandemic. While some of us may be fortunate enough to be financially stable during this time, there are far more that aren't.
FiVe Points is about coming together during this time or ANY time of need, it's time we do more. Our "Do Something" T-Shirt symbolizes just that, together we are #NEWYORKTOUGH.
All the shirts are LOCALLY PRINTED and 50% OF THE PROCEEDS go to World Central Kitchen which employs local Restaurants, Chefs & Delivery drivers to supply meals to those in need.
Â
Why World Central Kitchen?
- Traditional safety nets like school feeding programs, city services, and food banks are struggling to meet basic needs. Seniors, who are isolated for their safety, are unable to access meal services. Meanwhile, the countryâs hospital workers are more stretched than ever before.
- Restaurants are the nationâs second largest employer, sustaining 15.6 million American jobs with annual sales of $889 billion. Today, the industry is projecting job losses of between 5 and 7 million in the next three months as sales decline by an estimated $225 billion.
- It is WCKâs intention that by working directly with restaurants and providing demand for the restaurant business, we can get meals to those who need them most while also uplifting an industry that needs all of our help to keep their doors open.
